Scope the instance connection
Supply your instance API origin and supported bearer, Basic, API-key or OAuth settings. Add only the paths your workflow needs. Instance-specific permissions and field requirements remain enforced by ServiceNow.
Handle uncertain outcomes
Every custom write needs administrator approval. If a response times out or cannot confirm completion, the activity entry remains uncertain. Inspect the remote record before preparing another request to avoid duplicate changes.
