WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

Incoming and outgoing calls

30 customizable voices

Information or conversation

01

Connect and activate your tenant number

Platform administrators manage private carrier credentials and phone numbers in Platform Admin. They can synchronize owned numbers, assign a dedicated number to a tenant, and activate AI calling once the required provider configuration is ready.

A shared temporary number can supply the outgoing caller ID when configured. Incoming calls need a dedicated tenant number so the platform can identify the correct workspace. Adding a number alone does not enable calling; the administrator must activate it.

02

Choose information delivery or a conversation

Information mode delivers an approved message and ends the call after playback. Use it when the purpose is to communicate a specific update without a question-and-answer exchange. Review the message before sending it.

Conversation mode listens and responds using the workspace business profile, published knowledge, and public product information. Set a greeting for incoming calls or an opening purpose for outgoing calls. The assistant introduces itself as AI.

03

Preview and save a natural voice

Kore is the default workspace voice. Administrators can choose from 30 voices, including Puck, Aoede, and Leda, using the existing voice picker in Voice & calls. The call controls also include this picker and prerecorded samples.

Listening to a sample does not save a preference. Select Save workspace call voice to update the workspace setting. Speech previews and new incoming and outgoing calls use this same saved voice; a call already connected keeps the voice it started with.

04

Prepare multilingual conversations

The conversational assistant is instructed to respond in the language used by the caller. Supply accurate published business information and a clear greeting for the audience you expect to serve.

Voice samples demonstrate the sound of a voice, not every language or telephone condition. Before a customer rollout, review pronunciation of names, numbers, dates, and product terms in the languages your customers use. Audio quality can vary with the language and connection.

05

Set duration and review call history

Workspace administrators can configure a maximum call duration between one and ten minutes. Outgoing calls require a recipient number with country code, a message or purpose, and confirmation that the recipient agreed to the AI call.

Call history shows incoming and outgoing records, their mode, status, duration, available transcripts, and reported errors. If a submission is uncertain, review its history before preparing a new call to avoid contacting the recipient twice.

06

Continue the journey with human control

AI calling requires a verified voice-capable number, configured audio, and platform-admin activation. Carrier account and regional restrictions still apply. A saved voice preference or playable website sample does not establish that a telephone call is ready.

During a conversation the AI can record a customer-confirmed request to update a quote, apply an offer, check an order, book an appointment, update CRM, send a payment link or message, or request human handoff. A tenant administrator approves or rejects each request before a connected workflow receives it. Confirm a real incoming and outgoing call after activation before presenting the service as operational to customers.
